The hotel has 77 years of experience and is located at Aníbal Pinto 695, Iquique. It offers 122 rooms, a gym, pool, restaurant, lounge bar, and a beautiful view of the city’s historic center. Exclusive reopening rates start from $39,000 + VAT for 2 people, including buffet breakfast.

The classic Terrado Arturo Prat hotel, located in the historic center of Iquique, reopens its doors with exclusive reopening rates after being closed during the pandemic and leased to a private company. The hotel is situated facing Arturo Prat Square and the iconic city clock tower.

“The hotel is located just steps from Baquedano Street, which brings Iquique’s nightlife to life, the municipal theater, and most corporate businesses, meaning it is situated in the heart of the city’s tourism area,” says Jorge Game, General Manager of Hoteles Terrado.

With rates starting at $39,000 + VAT, guests can enjoy an exceptional stay that includes accommodation in a standard room for two people, a delicious buffet breakfast, and full access to the facilities.

History

This iconic hotel, inaugurated in 1947, became part of the Terrado chain in 2012. It stands out for its distinctive ship-shaped facade that harmoniously blends with the historic center of the city. With 122 rooms offering privileged views of the main square, the hotel also features a restaurant serving international cuisine, a lounge bar, a pool, and a gym.

“For the Terrado chain, this hotel is one of the most important due to its history in the city; an icon with 77 years of experience. Today, the hotel is perfect for business meetings, travelers, and tourists,” concludes Jorge.

The reopening of Terrado Arturo Prat marks an important milestone in the accommodation offering in Iquique, combining history, comfort, and excellent service for our guests. The hotel also offers promotional packages perfect for enjoying with your loved ones, and they can be found exclusively at www.terrado.cl.

Comfort, flavor, and a view that inspires
Excellent experience, it is highly recommended. The staff always has a very warm treatment, and is located in a strategic location for the soul of Iquique, which is its sea and Cavancha beach. It has very good swimming pools and perfect housekeeping. The beds are very comfortable and the restaurant has a very good menu and flavors.

The ideal place to enjoy Iquique to the fullest
Excellent hotel, excellent room and facilities in general, my stay was very comfortable. The food is also very good and its location is perfect to go out and enjoy the beach and its surroundings, the swimming pool terrace also deserves a 10/10 for its view from there.
